We are excited to announce an incredible opportunity for you: the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training has launched a scholarship program aimed at improving the quality of life of all willing Cameroonians, and persons with disabilities are not left out.

As the Coordinating Unit of Associations of Persons with Disabilities (CUAPWD), we are thrilled to share this news with you and encourage eligible individuals to apply.

The Ministry’s scholarship program is designed to provide livelihood skills to people who wish to pursue vocational training in:

• Construction works in metal
• Welding
• Motor vehicle repairs
• Aluminium fitting and installation
• Fashion design
• professional hairdressing
• Office automation
• Secretaryship
• Computer maintenance
• Computerized accounting and management
• Digital marketing
• Pharmacy seller
• Reproductive health assistant
• Auxiliary of life
• Renewable energy
• Project management
• Agriculture
• Home care

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬:

1. A stamped application addressed to the Minister of Employment and Vocational Training specifying the candidate’s choice of training center, its geographical location (town, division, and region) the sought specialty and the cost of training.
2. A scholarship request form to be obtained free of charge from the Regional and Divisional Delegates of Employment and Vocational Training, or downloaded from the website www.minefop.gov.cm and MINEFOP Facebook page.
3. One passport size photograph.
4. Disability Card
5. A certificate of guidance issued by the orientation’s services of centralized and decentralized services as well as the vocational information and guidance centers (VIGC).
6. A Medical Certificate of fitness for vocational training of not less than three (03) months.
7. A Certified true copy of the Birth Certificate.
8. A Certified True copy of the required certificate or equivalent;
9. A certified photocopy of level A transcript for 2023/2024 scholarship holders from Douala, Sangmelima and Limbe Vocational training centers of excellence, as well as the CAROON.
10. A copy of the National Identity Card.
