Leave No One Behind (LNOB4) Project
The Coordinating Unit of Associations of Persons with Disabilities (CUAPWD), through sustained advocacy under the Phase 4 – Leave No One Behind (LNOB4) project (supported by Christian Blind Mission – CBM), has secured firm commitments from several humanitarian and development organizations in the North West and South West Regions to provide internship and volunteering openings specifically for qualified persons with disabilities.
The goal is to transition trained and qualified persons with disabilities from being seen only as beneficiaries to becoming active contributors in the humanitarian and development sector.
Who Can Apply?
We are looking for motivated candidates who meet the following minimum criteria:
- Holder of a National Disability Card
- Relevant qualification or demonstrated skills in any field (administration, communication, ICT, social work, education, WASH, protection, livelihoods, etc.)
- At least basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, email, internet)
- Strong motivation to gain professional experience in the humanitarian/development sector
- Willingness to accept reasonable accommodations offered by host organizations
- Resident or able to commute to Bamenda, Buea, or nearby areas (depending on the opportunity)

- Your key competencies/skills
- Any specific support needs
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) – maximum 3 pages

- Copy of National Disability Card (front and back)
- Any other supporting document you consider relevant (references, recommendation letters, etc.)

Important Notes
- CUAPWD will facilitate the application process and liaise with host organizations.
- Reasonable accommodation support will be advocated for where needed.
- Successful candidates will receive orientation and mentorship support from CUAPWD during placement.
