Happy International Day of Sign Languages π€
Sign language is for everyone Hands can connect hearts, bridge communication gaps, and build truly inclusive communities where no one is left behind.
On this yearβs International Day of Sign Languages, CUAPWD proudly celebrates the richness of sign languages and the vibrant Deaf community in our society. Communication is a fundamental human right, and breaking down language barriers opens doors to equal participation in education, employment, and public life.
True inclusion means making space for every voice whether spoken or signed.
At CUAPWD, we put this into practice every single day by ensuring that persons with hearing impairments are actively included in all our activities. Whenever we host workshops, community outreaches, or training programs, we consistently engage professional sign language interpreters so that participants with hearing impairments always feel a true sense of belonging and have full, unhindered access to relevant information and opportunities.

Letβs continue to commit to learning, respecting, and promoting sign language to create a disability inclusive society in our communities and beyond.
